What a valid credential means
A valid C2PA credential means the signed manifest passed the checks available to this verifier. It can describe the signing tool and a recorded edit history. It does not prove that every statement in the file is true.

What “none found” means
Metadata may never have existed or may have been removed by an export, screenshot, editor, or social platform. Absence is not evidence of human authorship, deception, or safety.
Separate from text watermarking
C2PA is a signed file provenance standard. Claude's statistical text watermark is a different signal and cannot be read from ordinary text by this file checker.
